Started off on TY50 at age 16. 2x RD250s. TS90. TS250.XJ550 [god I loved THAT bike.] got married and had kids. Stroll on to age39 and a Bandit600. Then Thundercat. [had that for 10 years] which I P/Xd for the MT09 after a test ride. I test rode a FZ1 FZ800 and a Stripple. Nearly bought the Stripple but didn't. Love the MT and plan on keeping it for a good while to come.

I agree....this bike will take some beating...toyed with the idea of looking into a Ducati 821 but the running costs and parts and price put me off....anyway, I love the MT09 to bits!

He, i've crossed the 10k border, but still not crossed your road!
And for the health warning - no more stickers on the tank, it will just be removed :p

Reading on another thread about people owning quite lively bikes before going onto the MT09....a friend of mine traded in a GSX 1000, I traded in my Suzuki GSR750, just wandering what other bikes came before the switch to the MT09...?

I came from a BMW K1300R. A great bike (when not at the dealers for repairs etc) let down by poor quality components repeatedly failing making it very expensive to own and at the same time annoying.
