I had no complaints about the grip of the stock Dunlops, but the rear was worn out at 2100 miles. Fitted a pair of PR4's, on which I've ridden 5,500 miles, and the rear is still not squared off. I'd guess I'll get another 1,000-1,500 miles out of the rear, more from the front. Excellent types.
Well, I talked that one up. Just got home from a late afternoon/evening ride around the north Norfolk coast and noticed a bit of metal sticking out from one of the treads on the rear tyre. Pulled out a 1-1/4" long pin. Luckily, I have a spare in stock. :-(
