What Tom Tom fitting kit have you got? I recently fitted a Rider 400 with the supplied bar mounting kit. This is the type where the cables go to the mount and the Unit can be removed, refitted from the mount without connecting the cables. I used to use a plug in "cigar lighter socket"...

Yup I agree with most posts above, On my tracer setting 3 is too hot with thin gloves, actually, yesterday at 10c setting 2 was too hot as well...I fitted them myself, its quite easy following the instructions, and they are much more tidy than the non genuine ones.

I Have taken of the handguards and fitted R&G Bar ends, there is another thread on this. IMHO it looks much better and the view from the saddle also improved. Riding in 10c with heated grips on first setting is fine. I'm not sure that the guards actually do anything and note that Powerbronze...

Hmmm... I would anticipate that the Black half of the window is the Oil, the clear section is the air above the oil...you are looking at the oil level. There are marks to the side of the window to indicate the correct level. The coolant has a colour ...(Should have, if it has antifreeze in it)...

I do not think that its the brake pistons, but I have heard the noise, more a single "knock" than a pop...its seems to happen occasionally on the first firm brake from overnight rest... I think its more likely to be linked to the forks. Anyone else heard it?
