been riding for 36 years and had three bird hits,best one was on the carlisle road i was on my gpz1100 trying for a top speed,was doing about 125mph when a crow decided to fly up from side of verge glanced off the top of my helmet, i wobbled a bit and said sod it! then did an indicated 155mph...
it's slows pipe i was looking at sorry not fly's,you can see lambda it's on other side of pipe,if you go on youtube you can see someone fitting it and explaining that the new mid pipe has the hole for lambda on inside of bike as a opposed to yam original on outside.yep you are right about mine...
just had look at fly's can, you can see lambda sensor it's now tucked behind pipe,on gpr can you cut just in front of yamaha box and you leave yamaha lambda where it is,i also did not need to use any kind of sealant gpr pipes fit very well and do not need it i've no leaks you really need to see...
i've done it, really easy if you take your time,i've got the gpr slip on fantastic quality took about an hour to fit.to see finished result look in mods i've got pics in there.mine has no cat bike seems to run better,also yamaha lump of exhaust weighed the best part of 16 pounds!
i did not like the look of the two lines coming down, it's as simple as that,the brakes are greatly improved now less soft,the hel brake lines also come with the spacers already fitted,something the goodridge do'nt
it's the slip on,really good quality,took about 1 hour to fit,i like the front pipes, well tucked in,but the rest was heavy and ugly.keep your nerve cut nice and straight no probs,it has two db killers ,but i dare not take them out ! far to loud! if you look on gpr website they take out db...
