I cut my screen down to just above the dash and fitted spacers to the bottom bolts to lay the screen flatter it works for me no more buffeting like a flapping tarp.

Sorry boys I thought that I posted in the Traces forum I would be happy if moderators would move for me I'm referring to a MT09 Tracer and can not get the trip's to flash for a reset.

Hi All I have just ordered a 09 Tracer did not like the wind noise with standed screen so road again without screen all good so I was going to cut down the original but I see that in the UK some have fitted other screens but I cannot find any on E-bay in Australia so I'm after contact...

That sounds like a good idea.

I have had this problem with my 09 but I think that it originates from not letting the gear selector drop down to its home position after making a change ( my boot has held up the shifter slightly after making a change) try making sure that the shifter is able to return to its normal resting...

Just make sure that you are turning the key the right way as I stood on the other side of my bike the other and could not open the lock as I was turning it the wrong way. Cheers Rick

Kev's O2 Sensor Hi every one just made a trip up to Brisbane and had Kev fit one of his famous O2 Sensors and what a great up grade it made a very user friendly bike to ride I would recommend it to all MTO9 riders has totally changed my bike. Thanks Kev and what a nice guy to talk to. Cheers Rick

Hi Tim thanks for the reply I have spoken to my dino tuner and he thinks that he may be able to reduce some of the snacheyness so will take it back to him next week to see what he can do he is not a fan of re-flashing as so far on many bikes adding a flash has not improved any of the bikes...

Hi Tim new to for forum like the sound of the updated ECUWEST are you still happy with the mod and where are they available? I'm a mature age rider and having some trouble with the snachey throttle and don't like the sound of the Yamaha software upgrade as it is not reversible. Cheers Rick
