Great soft sound with a nice bark at the top of the rev range. Entertaining on the race track all the other bikes are screaming, but the MT-09 sounds like it's cruising Lol

Thanks mate. I love the way the Metzeler Racetec RR feel on the track. Getting lots of feedback from them, good turn in and loads of predictable grip.

Hi, I thought I would post some pics from down under. Racing the Yamaha MT-09 in the Superbike class at Ruapuna, Christchurch, New Zealand.

I had the same problem with the Yamaha engine Sliders on the track. This bike has the same ground clearance as the R6, so I swopped them out for the Yoshimura engine protectors. Good fun giving the big boys a run for their money!
