MT is my fourth bike. In every single one always the best battery was the oem battery. When it died, the aftermarket battery have never been as good as oem.

Maybe they weren't blinking when you have came and battery was already dead?
Or maybe something was wrong with new indicators and that's why they weren't blinking even when hazard lights were on.

Have no idea, but it's not normal for battery to die like that without a reason.
In my old bike - Suzuki Sv1000S - I never do anything during winter storage and never had a problem with battery when starting up the bike in the spring. It always has started up with one touch of the button like MT...
I think you have messed something up when installing indicators. I have left mine MT in the begining of the december. Never touch it since. And last weekend it has started up without any hesitation like it would been ridden all the time.
The only disadvantage of removed buffle for me is that i have to push my bike out of underground garage in my building because I can't start the engine inside. It turns on the alarms in cars including my own :D :D :D
Luckily its a very very small underground garage so it's only about 10 to 15...

Took mine in dealership just after installation, and don't want to put it back. But had to get used to its noise for a few weeks :D Now i get used to it or get deaf :D :D :D Nevertheless the noise does't mind me any more :D

But is the age identifier on uk plates the best way to describe bike production. Does it match the bike production date ?? Because in Poland they sell 2015 described bikes wich were produced in 2014 and...
Holy mother of God! I've had a terrible night because of that crack I've noticed yesterday. My bike has only 3500 km mileage.
