    Complete new suspension

Laffli, he might be right regarding outright stopping power. I, for one, do not need any more brakes than my Tracer has, out of the box. For sub-300, non-Brembo brakes, they're outstanding imo. But maybe braided lines could off er better feel and feedback. I don't know. Sorry OP, off topic...

    Suspension setup

So do I. I have to work out my aims, then start adjusting for them, hopefully going the right way. I know enough to get into strife!

    Front Brakes

There does seem to be a variation in brake effectiveness between bikes. The demo bike I rode seemed to have quite wooden brakes without much bite. Goes without saying that when I took delivery of mine and the brakes were, and are, bloody excellent, I couldn't believe it. So it might well be a...

    Tracer headshake cure.

Fwiw, mine didn't wobble unless I had the panniers on and the rear suspension softened so it actually worked (and I'm bloody heavy). It wouldn't shake under normal conditions even the, but as soon as I got behind a vehicle in the dirty air it was unstable (being kind). So, as the suspension...

    jeez

 Freedom of choice! By the way, are there any power figures on your new system? Just being nosy, but it's all good to know. Re sound - at least the cagers might hear you and wake up/look up from mobile phones/stop fiddling with their satnav.

    jeez

Thing is that the heavy OEM system helps get the bike through Euro 3, 4 or whatever, while still delivering decent power. Not many of us can use the power we already have, but the bottom line is freedom of choice! So far... I don't know how many aftermarket systems meet the emission/noise...

    Tyres

My dealer said NOT to run in the 40psi region on the rear. 36psi with rider only is their recommendation, and the same was said to my mate who had a 180/55 PS4 fitted to his bike by the tyre business. That seems to be the average opinion around my town fwiw.

help with my low speed wobble

Everyone has already tried to guess, without success. Best you tell us!

    Vibrations (Again)

Not much help I suppose, but coming from a 660 Tenere my Tracer is pretty easy to live with. Vibes? Sure, but relatively bugger all.

    Tyres

I think V8legend is pretty close to what I think, though I haven't done any wet weather work. Feedback is, as I said, only what I consider to be average. I think they feel harsh, too. even though I've had no reason to complain about outright grip thus far. It's just that they don't really...

    Tyres

I've only done 1000km on the OEM Dunlops, almost all of it in the hills at moderate to reasonable pace (given up full-on stuff. Please feel free to grind the undercarriage away - maybe hang off a bit more...). So far, the tyres are ok with what i think is average feedback.

    2017 Tracer engine warning light

What does happen if we turn traction control off to do the lube thing? Surely it won't throw a warning light then? Or does it? Fiik.

    Age

65 in a couple of weeks. Am poor, very poor - been riding motorbikes since I was 10 and money has flowed into way too many dealers' hands... My 2016 Tracer 900 is only a couple of weeks old (Yamaha Australia haven't released the 2017 at the time of writing), but I have to say this bike was made...
