    Tilt Sensor Connector

My local dealer has sorted the issue for me, they found a plug on an old loom they removed from another bike, cut of the plug and soldered it back on to my bike. Job done and bike now running again

I put a set of Tracer soft ABS panniers with brackets on eBay yesterday, currently still at start price of £125, but with a few watching.

    Tilt Sensor Connector

Hi All Does anyone here know where I might be able to get a replacement connector plug for the tilt/cut out sensor, as I have had a little mouse issue and he decided to eat some of my wires. It is the white plastic piece in the photo, from Yamaha it is all part of the main loom, my local...

    MT09 Seat Price

Not sure if anyone has seen, but it looks like Yamaha has dramatically reduced the price of the flat and comfort seats, at least for the early models. Flat Seat £117, Comfort Seat £126 and vintage seat £58.

    MT10 or suspension?

I have an early MT09 with MAXTON suspension all round, totally transforms the bike, and they will set it to suit your weight, I have had a couple of MT10 test rides and although it is a great bike for road use I think a nine with the suspension done is just as good. The other option of course...

    Low seat for Tracer

My side stand is just the standard one, not shortened, modified or changed, it still works fine. I would be a bit careful which way I parked on even ground I guess.

    Which luggage rack

For Touring I have the Yamaha paniers, and a Givi rack, but with A Yamaha top plate (just because I already had the Yamaha top box), I have done 3 UK and 2 European trips like this, although I tour solo without a passenger. picture below.

    Low seat for Tracer

I am 5ft 8, and I have the low seat, and the lowering dogs bones, so the seat is about 45-50mm lower which is perfect for me and I feel more secure with it. The low seat in no more comfortable than standard, but it is not any worse either. it you just want a little bit of lowering the dog bones...

    Tracer headshake cure.

I removed the hand guards on day one, as I did not like the looks of them and have had no issue with the wobbles, until I re-fitted them for a longish winter ride then noticed what people were talking about. Removed them as soon as I got back.

    Interesting times

Looks goods and if the spec is to be believed would be great, but I do not think they will ever be able to build it for £8k let alone sell it for that.

Guy Martin returning to the TT 2017

I think it will be great to see him back at the TT, such a character. I don't actually remember him saying he had retired, but he did seem to have a lot of other stuff on last year. I wish him all the success he deserves, and think it would be great to see him finally get a TT win.

    Mot Regs

On the British bike you can change the speedo from MPH to KPH and back by holding the select button for over one second. Not sure if it is the same on the European bikes, but it might be worth a try.

    Mirror mod

I tried those one too, but they did not move the mirrors out quite far enough to clear my shoulders, I found these straight 100mm ones and fitted them in line with the mirror stem, you almost cannot notice they are there, except when riding when it makes a big difference.

    Mirror Extenders

Hi Cali, if you install them on the angled part of the mirror arm it will extend the height and width, see the attached pic of the 100mm one fitted to my Tracer.
