My Attempt
I got fed up with trying so made this from an idea off a guy in the states, it works fairly well & i think the lines fit in quite well with the Tracer, since changing my helmet i have noticed a big improvement in noise reduction so perhaps it's not all down to the screen but a...
Perfectly normal & it is how the Tracer should be, it does look a bit strange & on a couple of occasions i have been told that one of my bulbs has blown by helpfull pedestrians, hope you enjoy the Tracer, i know i do!
I have a Tracer with a SH48 top box & SH36 panniers, my wife & i have a combined rider weight of around 135kg, we have just done a 1035 mile long weekend trip to Cornwall with the luggage fully loaded, i averaged an indicated 75 - 85mph most of the way there & whilst there at one point we hit an...
I removed my hand guards too, got some of these for the MT09 & turned them down by 3mm & 9mm so they screwed right in, i think the bike looks a lot better without the guards.
Phhhttt, kids today! ;)
Each to their own i know but for the past 29yrs of biking i've just sprayed dry lube after every 200 miles or after trips in winter it's WD40 wipe dry then lube.
I bought the Shad SH36 panniers with inner bags, SH48 top box, all fitting kits, shipped to the UK for a total price of £468.00, they seem to be a good quality item & once on the bike they are very sturdy.
I know what you mean, i'm not even getting that much riding time at the minute, seems to be sunny when i'm at work & raining when i'm not although i probably don't want to compete with you when it comes to the amount of rain we get! ;)

There's some discussion on trying to do the same sort of thing here i believe, not sure if it will help you much but at least it will tell you what the blank is actually for! ;)

I think it's a case of buying a tail tidy, just bear in mind that if you are going to fit panniers for touring then you also need after market indicators as panniers wont fit with standard indies on a tail tidy.
No mate, got that one with c spanner etc in which is fastened under the seat, this is about the size of an A5 envelope with one of them resealable plastic zip type fastener thingies at the top, it's folded up & just by the rear light.
Can someone tell me what the A5 size black plastic wallet is for that i found yesterday under the passenger seat up near the rear light, just seems a bit of a random thing to have on the bike.
Yeah i'm sure my dealer said it would be about £40, i shall be glued to the workshop window while they service mine to make sure they do it by the book! :)
How bad are these vibes people are talking about, i do get a slight tingly vibrating feeling as i accelerate but it's nothing unbearable, kind of feels like the vibes i used to have when riding my two stroke moto X bikes.
Got fed up with sweaty hands sticking inside my gloves so removed the hand guards, must say that i prefer it this way, bought some MT09 bar ends & had a friend turn them down a bit so they fitted a lot more flush to the bars than before, overall i'm well pleased with the result.
Am i right in thinking that the Hyperpro springs only come in one type as they are progressive & not different rider weight specificationas normal springs do.
I intend to get the suspension sorted at some point, not quite sure how far to go yet or how much to throw at it, keep meaning to go to...
