    seat options to stay sane

Can probably get the original seat re-upholstered for about half the cost of a Shad seat by someone like Sussex Motorcycles Elite Comfort Seat Motorcycle Memory Foam Inserts at Sussexmotorcycles.com, better than gel pads for rider comfort.

    seat options to stay sane

Only just seen your post so probably too late to help but if you haven't yet bought a new seat and you are in Bracknell (as your location states) you are quite welcome to try my Shad seat for size as I'm just down the road in Crowthorne.

    Which Exhaust system

I would have thought that selling your Akra Ti on Ebay or similar would give you enough (or close) to buy an Akra carbon. If the Akra Ti is too loud for you then you may find the carbon the same or worse as I believe that they are not road legal and therefore louder (at least than the Ti with...

Tracer petrol tank for MT09 naked

The problem becomes one of range anxiety though. It may be possible to do 160 miles on 14 ltrs BUT as the low fuel warning starts around 10/11 ltrs you become worried about how far to push your luck on "reserve" and do not make the most of the tank size. The confidence of having the extra 3...

    Metzeler road tec 01s

The Metzeler Roadtecs are a good tyre BUT I found that they slowed my steering down too much on the Speed Triple 1050 for my liking. Couldn't say what they are like on the lighter and more nimble MT09 but thought I'd try PR4 which I'm happy with at the moment.

Don't think Lew and I will agree on the TT but this article sums up my view very nicely. Why the Isle of Man TT matters | Canada Moto Guide The 2017 Isle of Man TT is over. The fans have packed up and headed for the ferry, the race teams have loaded their vans, and the locals can go back to...

    I.o.m 2017 deaths

Sorry I am think that is one of the most over used statements in Motor cycle sport They have died doing something they enjoyed doing, usually followed by RIP. Tends to be what the families often to say so I'm not going to criticise that. It is time this event was stopped or else made a hell of...

    I.o.m 2017 deaths

While obviously a pity these guys have died it's not an unusual occurrence. They know the risks and race anyway knowing that if the worst happens then at least they have died doing something that they enjoy.

    New 2017 MT-09 Engine problem?

This is something that my (15 model year) MT did and I believe is/was quite common. Most of it was cured when I fitted one of Kev's O2 optimiser thingies which has now been super-ceded by a reflash by Simon. I thought this had been cured on later model bikes though.

    2017 mode A STD B

Having ridden the 17 bike just a few days ago I got the feeling there is a NOT a lot of difference between A and STD (if anything STD felt sharper) BUT B was definately down on power and needed a lot more throttle for things to happen.

    New triumph street triple RS

In the last day or so I have test ridden both the new Street Triple RS and the 2017 MT-09. Triumph - the suspension was good as you would expect but the brakes were a little lacking unless you had a bit of heat in them first. It's a revvy engine with top gear only pulling about 12mph per...

    Ecu

The price will depend on who does the flashing for you but should be around £250-£300 (I think Simon on here charges £240). The pros may depend on what your current fuel map is like but on my 15 plate 09 it hunted quite badly on a constant throttle (although I believe Yamaha have sorted that...
