I have the Matt Grey paint and use this Motul E11 Matte Surface Clean - 400ml - SPORTSBIKESHOP. Been using it for 15 months now and would recommend it.

Had mine done last weekend and they just did the bottom clamps as apparently they are the only bit with the paint on that caused the problem. BTW every dealer I have spoken to said in their knowledge only one bike in the U.S. seemed to have the issue and Yamaha are going over the top replacing...

I would be interested in seeing a photo as I think the original ones may look good but are crap at keeping any of the elements off your hands and the KTM ones are half the price of a set of Barkbusters!!

Me too! No regrets as I can ride for hours longer than the VFR which I found really uncomfortable!!
