    Quiet here innit ?

I've sold my MT but still check the forum out it was a great bike. Ref tyre info I've got the Michelin Road 5s on my new bike and they are excellent. I had Metzler Roadtec 01s on my MT09 and they were excellent too. Be hard to pick a winner between them... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    Sp Engineering exhaust...

No mate, all good, defo lost a bit of grunt bottom end probably due to lack of back pressure, but not a lot. I spoke to SP before buying and they advised no fueling changes required and from what I can tell they were bang on... Sent from my H8216 using Tapatalk

    Battery?

I ran my MT09 flat by leaving the lights on had an absolute nightmare trying to bump start it, peeps in my local dealership said you won't bump start it with a flat battery (I don't know why this is). Bought an optimate and job done. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

    Tyres

Have been reading on another forum about people running lower pressures in there tyres than the manufacturer recommend, specifically lots of peeps running 30/30 where i think the recommended is 36/42. Advantages are supposed to be quicker warm up and bigger contact patch. Anybody run lower...

What petrol do you use? injector cleaner additives?

I have a mate that works in the petroleum industry and he said that shell premium fuel is the best one in the uk because of the additives they add, and supermarket fuel is the worst (as in no additives) and I'm sure he said you should get better MPG from the premium fuel but only marginally, and...

    Tyres

Had the tyres a good month now well scrubbed in, so far they've been excellent, grip is very good wet and dry, wet performance seems phenomenal, front turns in a bit at lower speeds more noticeable than the Dunlops, and these are the other way around to the Dunlops as in I've got about 3mm...

Movement in front end when slowing down/stopping.

My local dealer has an old school mechanic and it's half the reason they are busy, always approachable and always explains in depth what they've done and why, it's also one of the reasons I bought my MT09 and not a GSX 1000 another dealer had on offer ... Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk

Movement in front end when slowing down/stopping.

It's pretty staggering that it wasn't picked up when you first went in, I would go somewhere else from now on... Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk

    Tyres

Done a couple of rides, first impressions are good, very surefooted wet and dry and the profile of the front matches the back, the Dunlop front was much more rounded than the rear, the downside of that is 1/2 " wide chicken strips, need to up my game [emoji3] Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk

    Tyres

Forgot how different the bike feels when you put new tyres on, far to early to say anything about the metzelers performance but new tyres feel amazing compared to old worn ones [emoji16] Sent from my HTC U11 using Tapatalk
