we have yet to remove the spring and measure it but we think it's about 400lbs. If so, you'll probably need a 450lb spring, maybe a little more.

phew! thank goodness for that. we use real gallons here in New Zealand too (well us older Kiwis do, the youngsters use something called a 'litre'; sounds like something a cat shits in!)
183cm tall and felt too cramped to be able to stand riding it for long.
I often go for 500 kilometre rides and I reckon I'd be cramping at 200. Definitely worth looking at the Yamaha Accessories catalog as they have adjustable pegs/levers listed
Actually, I found the pegs too high and cramped (I'm 183cm or about 6' in American).
