I've had the Vario screen and hand guards on mine but have since took them off. The screen was good for motorway speeds at it's highest setting but if pushed a little more it flexed a bit, and it must've been connected to the throttle because it tended to make me drive a little* bit faster. Also...
One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the MT09 has throttle modes that you can change on the fly. I've never ridden the 07 but the consensus seems to be that B Mode on the 09 is very much like the normal throttle of the 07. Maybe Donut can clarify this.
Yeh Fly I know, I've heard/read the same.. however in the words of a famous old character.. I don't believe it. The MT10 is crying out for a Tracer version, the 9 has one, the 7 now has one. This there wont be a Tracer MT10 in my opinion is just protecting sales of the naked version for the...
I've had the Andreani cartridges sitting waiting to be fitted since last year. The Nitron rear shock has transformed the bike so much I think I've just got used to the front.
2 year service soon, think I'll just get them to do it at the same time..
..and this too..
Although I haven't had it done for my bike, I think £240 is good value for a remap. Spent more getting my motorhome done at Quantum for an extra 4mpg lol.. and a wee power boost :D
Sorry to read of your accident TT, hope you make a full recovery and get back to hooning around.
The trauma will recede to a faint memory over time. You'll be back.
Incidentally I quite liked morphine, made me dream of sex
I think the Bridgestone S20's that were standard on my bike are very good, the rear lasted about 4k and the front about 8k. Very grippy in the dry but pretty easy to spin up the rear when it's cold and wet if you're not careful. I'm on my 2nd front and 4th rear (one with a puncture).
I might...
There's a notch on the inside of the swingarm that the caliper should slot into, it's easy to refit the wheel without first making sure it is seated correctly, I know because I did it lol. Maybe not the problem but worth having a check.
