leads

Ok guys. Ignore the hand pointing. I am too lazy to take a photo. I need help here. What is this white connector for? The one pointed by the red arrow. It has 4 leads is there any chance I can use the red one for IGN live signal for a relay?

Hi lads ,is it safe to just connect the leads or is there any special procedure to follow?,as with all this electronic smoke and mirrors stuff I don't want to chuff it up.
