Why is it that they seem obsessed with mpg in a country that has had huge engine v8s and cheaper fuel than us, if you go on most bike forums they are constantly going on about how far they got etc etc, now maybe it because they have bigger distances between garages than us in the uk I don't know but its very boring, im only interested in how fast it goes and is it good to wheelie etc all the fun stuff. rant over.

Speaking from a West Australian point of view if I'm doing a bush ride knowing where the next fuel station is very important - mainly because of the distance between fuel stations in the country can be huge.
