Just a quick one to say hi from not so sunny Scotland!!!

Just got a spanking MT09 in Dark Armour and pick it up in a couple of weeks.

Previous bike was a Aprilia Tuono.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Pick the bike up in a few weeks, got a decent PX on the Tuono but still trying to sell it private.

Think the MT will be more usable on the every day roads than the Tuono.

Well the day finally came. Pick up the bike at lunch time today two tanks later and I'm grinning like a Cheshire Cat.
Can't wait to get the thing broke in and start some real fun!!!

I had a Tuono but I sold it when I moved to Australia. They are as rare as over here so couldn't find the right one. In the meantime I found the MT and I've had one since January. Couldn't be more happy!! An excellent replacement for the Tuono. You'll have lots of fun.

Well I have to say I'm more than impressed with the MT09 thus far.
Think the suspension may need stiffening up a little but apart from that I'm really impressed. Can't say that the throttle is all that snatchy compared to my previous bike either, I did bump up the CO to 14 across the board and take the slack out of the cable.

So first parts are on the way. Yamaha tail tidy which I will shorten and Evotech radiator guard.

I've got the same one. Fantastic quality. Let's loads of air thru as well so no cooling issues like some on the market.
