You may ask how did i end up with two sets? well i also have a Yamaha Thunderace, now the Ace has huge standard bar ends and they are very heavy, i ordered a set of R and G bar ends for it, fitted them, and then I found out why the oroginal Yamaha ones are so big and heavy! it needs them to be to damp out a hand numbing vibration at 4500 RPM, needless to say after a clean up the originals went back on and the R and g ones into a box of odds and sods.
I then ordered the MT09 R and G bar ends, they turn up, same as the Ace ones, so never opend them and fitted the Ace ones to my MT09, the MT09 doesn't have the vibe issues as the Ace so all was good.
