My bike came with one. It really is a bit useless. Looks ok, but i noticed today its scratching the side panels !!! It also marks very easily. Think i'll take it off tbh

You can make it out in this image, but its the same colour as the seat and doesn't cover the pillion entirely. Very strange !

I have one too. I like it. I only ride solo and i have never seen anything like it.

Nope. No dammage done.

I can see it kinda reflects the MT09 logo but it really does seem like a very weak design aesthetic.
Not sure what they were thinking?!?
