The vibration on my bike is becoming a pain, it occurs only on the throttle side, every time I ride I get a numb thumb and two fingers nearest the thumb within 20 minutes, the clutch side is fine with no vibes at all so I think I can safely assume nothing is loose, I have checked the handguard...

I have got the same MRA screen and it is better than standard, it looks great but the wind does get noisy around the helmet, I will get a taller screen next year and use that for touring, the MRA one is ok for general use

I have not had any reason to fault the throttle assist, works great for me in most situations.

I don't have any strange gearbox noises other than the loud clunk when going from neutral to first as on most bikes, I just find the gearchange notchy and not particularly smooth, my last two bikes were a Triumph Tiger sport which had a very smooth gearchange and a Suzuki Bandit 1250 which...

Will all owners get the recall letter, I have to say that the gear-change on my Tracer is not that great at times !

My Tracer has a yellow dot on the CCT, now what is this about a recall for the gear shaft ?

I have just done a 700 mile tour of mid wales with one of those throttle assist devices and can report that theyr are brilliant, they reduce vibration by way of a lighter grip on the throttle and also prevent aching tired wrist muscles, I cannot recommend highly enough

I have just finished connecting up my Garmin Zumo, not a bad job, good write up Reeseyboy, I checked out the wires and the brown was the positive, I used mini female spades pushed onto the spare socket pins, how kind of Yamaha to provide this facility

I had a look behind the screen and found two blanked off connectors next to the connector for the existing 12 volt socket, are these blanked off connectors for the additional 12 volt socket or accessories like sat nav ?
