Brand new? If so how was the Ohlins sorted, did the dealer fit them?

Mine whines, 2 weeks old 200 miles, the demo bike did it as well, I'd say its normal.

Can't get the baffle out for the life of me, been hammering away at it with a broom handle and it just won't budge. Took the cat out though and that seems to have made it louder! It's only to satisfy my own curiosity and would probably end up back in anyway.

I picked mine up last week and noticed swirls in the paint, the dealer said they'll polish out so they're doing it for me when I take it for it's first service.

They are indeed, I've had my eye on one since my mate bought one last year, road tested one on a whim last weekend while I was taking the XJR for its mot, I was sold and ordered it the day after. Didn't know about the free exhaust til the salesman told me about it, very happy!

Bought it from CMC in Cannock, and yep, the Akrapovic was free, the promo started a week last Friday til the end of May I believe.

Managed to get a 60 mile ride in over Bridgnorth this afternoon, this thing is bloody awesome, having traded in an XJR1300 the MT is so flickable, and that engine! Just wow!

Picked it up today, Akrapovic exhaust is on order at the dealer so I'll wait til the first service and have it fitted then. Fitted a Puiggi screen and R&G tail tidy as soon as I got it home. :)

The dealer has submitted the paperwork for the exhaust so I'm going to have it fitted when the first service is due, I couldn't wait! Fitted a tail tidy and screen today :)

Hi all, new MT09 owner here (well I will be after I've picked it up later today) . Trading in my XJR1300 for a Deep Armour MT with the Akrapovic exhaust (free with the current promotion). Test rode it last weekend and was instantly sold, looking forward to getting some miles in and hope to meet...
