It's a gilles tooling billet handlebar brace. Yamaha give it you for free when you pay an extra 1200 quid for a sport tracker. It has no practical purpose to the average motorcycle rider. :)

I should add that in the photos above the pesky little baffle is still in there.

I had to pinch these from the Internet because I have no more photos of mine on my phone, exactly the same though. I will add a photo down tge pipe. It looks awesome without the baffle in.

To be honest it's a GP style megaphone type can and would look daft centered without a different end on it. Plus I'm not noticing any heat coming up from the seat which is another plus.

You mean under the seat?

It's expensive but it's also pretty epic, I just resigned myself to the fact that motorcycle parts are overpriced haha.

Re posting this to the right thread this time: 1. Is there any way to check what version map is on my bike? 2. The dealer told me that new models have the software update but it feels anarchy as hell so I don't believe it. Cheers!

Apologies if I have missed this info but is there any way to check what software is on the bike. The reason I ask is I picked up my bike new after the ECU update was announced and was told my the dealer that new bikes are already updated. However my choppy throttle is telling me otherwise...

I'm trying to save up for a plate with less letters then I can have a smaller plate and not even break any rules. Ill be the king of small plates :D

It's just the base colour bike they made for the sport tracker edition. It actually looks different from the one on the yamaha website as the clutch cover is black but it's about the same well done yamaha for being 'sort of consistent' lol.

So do you think this bike has the new ECU map? Ow do you find the throttle response at roundabout speeds? Epic bike by the way lol
