Finished with my Mods, I think ;-)

I had a local upholsterer rework the seat for me at a cost of $200.00. He did a great job and have done 320K (200mile) trip without getting a tender bum.

What causes a speed wobble (high speed weave)

I managed to do some track work with mine since my last attempt at alignment and have found that the wobble that started at about 180Kph now starts at 225Kph and is not as severe as before. I have just rechecked my alignment and have made a 0.3mm change to the setting and will advise if this has...

What causes a speed wobble (high speed weave)

Works for me I also had speed wobbles that started about 170Kph but now it's fixed. There is a design concern with the chain adjuster which is parallax error as the swing arm mark sits 10mm above the adjusting block. If your not square with the marks then you can end up with a substantial...

    Seat Modification

Seat Mod completed Local upholsterer has completed my seat and both the wife and I are very happy with the results. Both seat areas are much thicker and more level. I don't feel like I'm constantly sliding down onto the tank.

    Seat Modification

This bike will spend most of it's life two up with my wife on the back. I will be removing an amount of foam from the riders seat and adding 60mm of different foam's and stepping up the pillion seat height by 60mm. The seat will end up with a step in it and be wider at the back than the standard...

    Tail Light Mod

After fitting the rear rack i felt the tail light became to obstructed for other road users. I made up a bracket and extended the wiring loom 270mm and relocated the bracket under the back of the rack. Photo attached.

    Left and Right Knobs Fitted

Simply because the left side of the bike is wider or has more overhang than the right side and therefore requires a wider knob.

    Left and Right Knobs Fitted

Turned up and fitted some aluminium knobs to protect the radiator and water pump. Just need to take them off, polish them up and coat them in clear polyurethane.

    Rack and Top Box

It's there to stop the wife falling off the back and I expect it will be somewhat harder to keep the front wheel on the ground. The box is only on when the wife is ;-)

    Anyone got the comfort seat?

I had my Hyosung seat made over by a local upholsterer who stepped and blended the foam into a great shape all for just AU$150. To my surprise the wife is happy with the MT seat but I'm still thinking of taking it in for a makeover. Just looking at the gel options etc at the moment before I...
