Treated myself (along with Ram Mount ball) at the Bike Show to some R&G Heated Grips
The garage is freezing today, but thought I would at least offer it to the bike.
All seems well, but how the hell do I slacken those bar ends. ??
I remember them being tight on other bikes but not this bad

Several elements of my instrument display failed after the bike hadnt been used for a couple of weeks and was therefore quite cold.
First time I saw it, they all returned after 5 or 6 miles.
Pictured at the dealers when I arrived, I suspect some leds were re-appearing. Its not very obvious here...

Sunny day yesterday, got to end of...

When it goes in for its first service at 600ml, should the dealer be able to check the software version ?
Will probably leave it stock for the moment as I am...
Collected my MT09 on Wednesday, and went out for my first proper ride today
Thought I'd give my impressions after 110 mile ride through the Yorkshire Dales
Impressed with:
50+ mpg, but I was 'running in' (of sorts) and didnt put it into A mode
Easier on my wrists after coming from a CBR600RR...
Its some years since I did a track day on my bike, and that was in the UK, but I dont believe many then had specialist insurance for their bike on track, or specialist insurance for themselves.
When I've done car track days in Europe, my car insurance can be uplifted to cover it on track (with...
