    Suspension options UK

I’ve been reading up on this topic, and come to the conclusion that I can’t justify spending a fortune on suspension (well SWMBO says Ican’t!) I’ve fitted a zx6r shock, and it’s made a big difference, but the front end is still rather poor. I’ve heard that you can fit the adjustable suspension...

    quick action throttle

Yeah, I appreciate it's each to their own. I've used Araldite to glue the pipe onto the throttle tube on dozens of bikes, many of them mine with no dramas. I used this stuff in the engineering world for the last 20+ years and 'stuck' some obscene things together with it. It ain't coming off a...

    Sticking red engine start/stop switch.

My XSR 9 does it too, and has done for the last 7-8 months. Pretty shoddy really for a new bike. And my mates MT09 did it before he sold it on, as the new buyer complained to him when he started it just with the key! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    quick action throttle

If your any good with the tools and a bit of diy, you can mod your own throttle tube to reduce the twist to about 1/4 turn for pennies. Once you’ve got the throttle tube off all you need is a piece of upvc pipe 50mm dia. Hacksaw, file and glue (2 part epoxy is best). You literally cut a piece...

    MT10 or suspension?

I had a go on the mt10 when I took my xsr9 in for a service. All seemed awesome with the 10 as I took it for a mandatory gentle ride for the afternoon as you do. First thing I noticed was WHEELIE!!!!!!!!!!!! In the first three gears!!!!! It handled just as my XSR did, maybe a slight bit slower...

    Mobile speed camara vans

Yeah I heard about this. Something tells me it can't be used for speed enforcement as they believe it or not have certain rules they have to abide by. And this broke most of em! I think the solicitors must have ripped them a new one for being so Friggin sneaky! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Mobile speed camara vans

We should count ourselves lucky in the uk, somewhere in Europe they hide the cameras in wheelie bins and allsorts of nasty tricks like that! Now that's just not cricket [emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Mobile speed camara vans

Gotta admit, the camera vans in lancashire are placed in areas where dickhead bikers 'take the piss', in villages, on mega long straights, and built up '30' zones. I'm perfectly happy with this and in my opinion the offenders get what they deserve! At the end of the day we all speed, it's part...

    Help - Front wheel judder

Might be a long shot, but are the disc bobbins free to turn? If there's rust in there, one or two could be seized which will cause 'judder' under braking too. Dead easy to sort if they are though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Bike before the MT09.....?

Had a multitude of different bikes, last one was a tuned up Tiger 1050, a flat barred carb'd R1, highly tuned FZ1s, And a load of 600cc second bikes used for work!

    Blackpool newb

Greetings guys, another sort of newbie here from sunny Blackpool. An Engineer by trade, but employed elsewhere for now. Not got an MT yet, but one is definitely in the pipeline. I've test ridden the MT09 three times now, the tracer 900 and 700, also the XSR900. The MT turns me into an absolute...
