Does anyone know if it's possible for the bike to always start in A, I only use A . PS my UK dealer also told me change the mode with the throttle shut I do it every time Zero problems. Daps sounds like you may have knocked the kill switch in the process of using the changing mode button :-)

Please keep trying to find a fix for this as it rattles me why did yamaha do it?? my bikes revs to 12K in 5th and only 10K in top but exactly the same speed is shown 141mph why dont they just have a rev limiter like all other bikes not a speed limiter Pool Boy get your self a MRA Vario screen...

Yes I am 5ft 8Inch MRA vario is great :-0 it's even made the bike faster and a bit better on fuel, but much better when it rains !! I did however have to tip the mounting bracket up with some spacers to make the screen have less slant which also made it taller :-)

Mines the same except at over 110 - 120 I have to shut off sometimes I thought it might be the yamaha top box or uneven road ???
