hiya the black frame is carbon fiber covers sprayed satin black to match the swinging arm, and i stripped down the front end to spray the top and bottom yokes myself. you cant beat the good old yamaha speedblock design. Still looks good 40 years on!!!!
hiya , you are doing the right thing putting the meter between the neg term and the battery, i work on cars and a12 volt system is a 12 volt system. A good reading would be 0.07 amp or less ( 7 hundreath of 1 amp) even better get an amp clamp, then it saves you disconneting the negative lead...
Just taken out my bike after stripping it down over the winter months for a paint job, Well pleased with the paintwork all done by tony at cyclesprays in surrey.
it sounds spot on , dont forget to file the contact surface where it touches the silencer a little. Its makes it far easier to get in and out. Good luck
just done the same to mine only had a short ride so far but i could feel straight away that the bike does not try to throw me off at every tiny bump now Good place for the supplied stickers by the way!!
Looking again at that raceblu colour scheme i think it was designed at that famous middle eastern design house commonly known as Bling it right up and ruin it.com
Has anyone else seen the new colours for the mt09 on yamahas website? Black frames allround now and im not sure about those blue forks on the race blu version?
