I’ve got a SENA 10U fitted in my Shoei GT-Air. I use ear plugs as well and recently went from Edinburgh to Portsmouth and back mainly cruising around 90 on the motorway and had no problem listening to music on my iPhone, making phone calls and listening to Google maps telling me how to detour...
Hello from Edinburgh. The screen is easy. Just turn the knobs anti clockwise, slide the screen up or down and then tighten the knobs again. Make sure it’s the round knobs you turn and not the little square adjusters - they are for setting the headlights.
I had the same problem with mine on my MT07. Replaced under warranty. Also had to get the left switch gear replaced on that when the headlight flasher stopped working. Seems Yamaha don’t do quality switch gear!
stevecbr,
What kind of mileage do you get with both types of fuel? I use normal unleaded and over the 2000 miles I’ve done, Fuelly tells me I’ve averaged 49.6mpg.
I’ve been tinkering with my settings for the last couple of months. From stock it was way too hard and the bike pattered over worn roads and jarred me when I hit the many potholes we have up in Edinburgh. I softened it up in August to:
Front preload 17mm (8 quarter turns from fully out) and...
The dealer told me that the plug repair you can do yourself should only be a temporary one to get you to a place for a proper repair or tyre replacement. My £39.50 was for the dealer to take the wheel off, plug the hole then put the wheel back on and adjust the chain. Too much bother for me to...
I got a puncture on the rear of my MT07 in the spring. My dealer said it could be plugged but since I wasn't going to change my bike until September I decided to put a new tyre on instead. Then changed to the Tracer in June!
Lo and behold after 1000 miles On the Tracer I managed to pick up...
I had a Givi screen on my Transalp and a Suzuki vario screen on my 650 V-Strom and both did the same as your MRA - windflow hit the visor in just the right place to shift any water when it rained. I never wiped the visor for the couple of years I had each of those bikes. Didn't get any noise on...
I wonder if anyone popping wheelies has had the engine warning light? Does the bike wheelie in mode A and get the warning light? If the TC needs switched off to get it to wheelie and they don't get the warning light then that might be the way ahead for us lazy folk to loob the chain.
Morseman,
I opened a thread 2017 "Tracer engine warning light" cos I got the same result by loobing my chain with the engine on and in gear. Strange thing is though that it didn't do it straight away. It was the 5th time I had done it that way but it hadn't thrown the warning light before. The...
I don't do down changes clutchless. Never quite managed to match the revs when I was younger and now I'm scared to cause any damage.
Seems there are more pros than cons then.
When I first got my Tracer I was less than smooth with my gear changes while I was finding the bite point of the clutch so I tried clutchless changes. They were very smooth going up the box, even from the lower gears. I don't do it now I've got used to the clutch but I was surprised at how good...
