Hi Toasted Blue, great that you've done this- makes it easier for the rest of us tightarse's. Anyway, haven't yet seen an aftermarket muffler that looks as good as factory. 2 questions, did you put packing in, and how LOUD is it? I love the idea, but dont want too loud:confused:. I didn't- it is an ex-demo bike that obviously bit a test pilot in the butt! Got it for a good price though with 1000km on it. It's very mildly damaged, just a few scrapes on levers but scrapes both sides of tank and a couple of small dents. Be nice to get a good tank rather than repair this one.

I had Bridgestones on my street triple and did some track miles on them. Pretty hard to go past them, I reckon, although I agree about the Michelins too.

Hi guys, anyone know where i might get a decent condition fuel tank? Mine has`a few dents! !:( I'm in NZ, and none being parted out in this neck of the woods yet. Thanks, Adrian

You're lucky- we dont even have a delivery time in NZ. Hoping it will be this year, no prices either, but given the street triple is aprox NZ$16,ooo ( US$11000-ish) we possibly will be paying a premium compared to you guys. Cant wait!!
