Hi, Just ordered a 2017 MT-09 in blue from my local dealer. I'm fitting the Yamaha upper tail tidy, R+G crash bungs and a screen as soon as I get it home. Should have it in about 10 days, then it's time for me to run it in and get the first service out of the way before I head off for the TT.

....when I was going up a fairly long hill(2miles ish). Was on for about a minute. Pulled in then it went off itself without turning engine off. Coolant level ok and temperature ok. Carried on for another 10 miles or so till I get home and again checked everything but all seems well. Anyone else...

I rode my Tracer for the last time today to collect my Super Tenere from the dealers. Riding it highlighted all the good things that attracted me to it in the first place, but riding the S Tenere back home confirmed that for me at least it's the ideal bike. and seeing as I can only afford one...

Picked it up today, Akrapovic exhaust is on order at the dealer so I'll wait til the first service and have it fitted then. Fitted a Puiggi screen and R&G tail tidy as soon as I got it home. :)

does the PDI include checking tyre pressures ? evidently not at Fowlers :mad: it was so late by the time I was handed the keys there was only 1 route home, M4, and what a hideous ride, felt so unstable at speed and taking roudabouts was exciting, not in a good way, drift, drift, wobble and more...
