About 5000 miles on the clock, it's been struggling for a while I presume as I've been feeling that slight vibration for perhaps the last 1000 miles. Only when I replaced the Akro baffle did the loudness of the cam chain hit me, I can hear the brrrpp brrrppp clearly even with earplugs in. As you'd expect, it goes quiet the moment I got to the dealers today and the techy wasn't too impressed. Fortunately it went nuts after a high rev and the noise came back loud as ever, definitely failed, new tensioner ordered for next week.
Bit annoying that a 2015 MT09 has this problem, I was under the impression they'd sorted it out by now. Fella reckoned this was first he'd heard of it. I will ask for my old CCT back and see which revision it was. Wonder if the new one will last until the end of the warranty period
