I am just thinking if I should remove mine before I get it done or keep it. Its quality made, instead of the plastic crap that originally was there.
Map will be done specially for the bike, will leaving G2 have any negative effect or not?

No negative impact on the throttle...it won't be needed I can assure you

Mines had Yamaha flash, don't need a G2, you won't need one on Simons either, but it shouldn't hurt to keep it on.

G2 shouldn't affect how the bike is mapped.

Left my G2 Tamer on after the Yamaha flash. Tested it with and without but prefer it on...Don't notice any real difference but makes the A mode just that touch smoother..my own personal preference!

Apologies if I have missed this info but is there any way to check what software is on the bike.

The reason I ask is I picked up my bike new after the ECU update was announced and was told my the dealer that new bikes are already updated. However my choppy throttle is telling me otherwise...

Yes by 1mph I haven't heard anything else off the little stunt monkey all weekend ,but I have been rubbing it in that mine has 5bhp more than his,
bet he would trade his 1mph for the 5bhp lol
