Carbon Akrapornvic Comparison (Videos/Pictures)

Its an FZ09, but the MT09 section seems like it gets more traffic... This information and video should appeal to all as it gives a good sound comparison between stock and the Carbon Akrapovic Full exhaust system

So I got the exhaust, power commander, and block offs last friday, and installed it all Saturday. All I can literally say is WOW! What a GREAT product! I have never heard of such a sound. The exhaust fits perfect, looks good, and sounds GREAT (obviously). I came from an R6, so im not sure if this really means anything to anyone, but when I had that bike I put a full exhaust/PC/Filter/Block offs and had it dyno tuned, and it pretty much felt the same. This exhaust LITERALLY made me feel a performance difference.

I tried my best to make a good before and after comparison video of the exhaust. I had to work with what I had, so this is the best I could do. I recorded it all on my Cell Phone (Droid Maxx), and GoPro HD Hero2. The reason being is because they both record sound differently. In all honesty videos do this exhaust NO JUSTICE. It just sounds amazing in person. (Sorry for poor videos, i was trying to get them done before I went to work last night, but it didnt go as planned)

Quick little story: When I first got the bike, no one was really impressed. This exhaust completely flipped that upside down. I have a friend who wants to get rid of his beloved R1, just so he can get an Fz-09. Another friend with a 600 gixxer feels the same way. They both LOVE it now. The sound has such a deep, crisp tone!

great vid mate, gopro mics are crap! i bought a tiny £3 chinese mic on a 2 meter wire and clip it to the rubber hose on the rear brake resevior. sound much better now

Love that sound, maybe Father Xmas will bring me one. Also I sere you have the R&G areo crash bungs, same as me. I think they really look good with the bike and almost like they are original spec.

How loud is it with db killer in? Is it bearable?

I much prefer the look of the carbon system, sounds nice on my sound system at home from the go pro, I'm stuck between termignoni and the akrapovic system maybe the arrow one dunno which I want to go for.

Yea the R&G sliders look good, I also have them doubling as a gopro mount!

That looks and sounds really good. What are the blanks you refer to, are they the plates bolted to the head near the spark plugs?
At least the exhaust looks higher up then standard, a lot of people complain that the Yamaha approved titanium can hit the ground when suspension compressed
