Just interested to hear how you folks clean the rear wheel.
I tend to use a bit of petrol then polish off with Autoglym which brings the wheel up fine.
Cheers

I use Muck Off chain cleaner, it's a degreaser so takes off any fling from the chain with one wipe. Serious stuff and paint friendly.

paraffin is a good solvent for cleaning off chain lube, especially for those days when you decide to clean up around the front sprocket.

I use an old 1" paint brush and an old, small saucepan - put some thick cardboard under the bike to catch the run off and let it soak in, which saves your drive getting messy and makes it easy to dispose of in a bin or on a bonfire.

to clean off a bit of spray then the muc-off aerosol available in Halfords is a good product

You can get a gallon of paraffin from B&Q for about £6. If you live in a rural area then a farmer's merchant will probably be cheaper.
