Having to wait until November for a COOOOOLD test drive, and March with really playing with this bike, I find solace in other people's reviews. One of them is this guy right here:

I have a contact who is putting all the promo stuff, ads, test rides, etc, onto a dvd as a souvenir.
(This bike will be a cult classic!)
If there is enough interest, perhaps arrangements could be made for members of this forum to be able to 'aquire' a similar dvd. Your thoughts please.

Performance--Brilliant !

Just back in from my first ride on the mt09 in the pissing rain.
Beutifully smooth. Sharp brakes. Nothing 'snatchy' just responsive and exactly how you would expect it.
B mode turns the bike into a well-honed 650. Reminded me of a Gladius.
Bearing in mind i was having to scrub in the new tyres and brakes for the first 30 miles or so, after quickly familiarising myself with new bike 'lay-out, i ended up throwing it about. This bike would make an hooligan out of a vicar!
Easy to ride. Impossible to get bored of. Always enjoyed my suzuki GSR but this bike made that feel like a tractor!
Don't listen to all the critics whining about 'snatchyness'.
They shouldn't be riding! Perhaps Mr Neeves should get a push bike.-Mincer!
This bike is exactly what you will expect of it-FUN !

I think MCN and Mr neeves get too much revenue from triumph. Down on the bike from the start. The reviewer in bike magazine said he was the only one at the launch complaining about front end. I bought a speed four after reading one of their reviews and that didn't have a throttle it had a switch. Rose tinted glasses over triumph me thinks. The street triple batters my knees, just couldn't get comfy on it and the MTs engine just batters it.

Got the deep armour from Wigan Yamaha. I actually pick it up Thursday. I ordered it 8 weeks ago but had to wait for the colour to come in. I loved my test ride on the demo even though the handlebars were bent as one of their lads had come off it.

Umpf, that must have been shortly after i test rode it then; i hadn't stopped rolling before a young mechanic was over me, taking the key out of the ignition and without words "kindly" wanted me to get of the bike before he rolled it away.
I like the fact it might be that cocky thing who have come off it hahaha

Anyhow, would love to meet up with you and Rob for a joined group ride out once the weather will allow for it.
I'm due my first service in Sheffield on Saturday, weheee
