Photo's as promised, not the best as space and lighting are both limited in the garage but I did my best:

And a pretty crappy phone phone pic to compare the sizes:

IMO neither of you will regret buying/fitting them.

How easy are they to fit and connect on a scale of 1-10?
If 10 means easy then deffo a 10 if you happen to have a socket set and some bullet connectors and a crimping tool and already know how to remove the plastics from the rear of the bike.

I watched these random YouTube videos first just to give me an idea but it is very simple and easy to do, especially if you get the flashing relay I mentioned earlier as this is just plug and play and eliminates the need for the Yamaha resistors.

Thanks for posting the vids. I'll watch them a couple of times and have a go I think. Failing that, Yamaha service centre just down the road if it starts to go pear-shaped

The LED's are smaller, but I presume a lot brighter? I followed a Honda the other day which had tiny little LED's which I could barely see when he was indicating, which clearly isn't safe and not that clever all things considered.

I'd say they are deffo brighter than the stock bulbs. That said though no indicators do very well in direct sunlight as the sun is pretty damn powerful.

thanks RG this is why the forum is so useful.
What seems so obvious to some eludes others.
