Hello MT-09 / FZ-09 riders
I have been riding bikes since I was a boy and have a long history of machines in my garage. My last ride was a 2012 Yamaha WR450F which I street motarded. Great fun on the dirt and the road but not the most sensible bike to do lots of commuting on.
Prior to that I had a Suzuki GSX 1400 which was a big torque monster. Unfortunately I wrote that off in a high speed accident in 2009 ( Amazingly I walked away) , and have the taste for a road bike again. There's twisty mountain roads 10 minutes from where I live so I am looking forward to getting another bike.
I am test riding the mt-09 tomorrow and am doing some research on mods. I look forward to reading all your tips and advice about the bike.
