LED Indicator realy - Have I bought the wrong part?

Hi Gang,

I recently purchased an LED relay to replace the OEM item on my MT-09 as I intend to replace all my bulb indicators with LEDs.
However, when I came to fit it yesterday I discovered that all 4 bulb indicators arrive at the OEM relay by just 2 wires (which are blue and brown) and plug onto 2 connectors on the relay (labelled L and B) but my replacement relay has 3 connections labelled L 5 49a, 1 - 31 and 2 + 49.
Those last 2 connectors I take the labeling to mean 1 negative 31 and 2 positive 49 ?

So, for the more electrically savvy amongst you, is it possible to use this new 3 connector relay to replace my OEM 2 connector relay and if so how should I wire it, or have I purchased the wrong part?

i can only say theres 2 types of relay (there is also a 5 pin but thats different again, i forgot what that does now, timer or hazzards or summut) and those operate on 2 or 3 pin. you do need a 2 pin for the MT.
