Nice one Marcel ! What caps did you use to plug the old rear view mirror mount?

Any close ups of how you made the tail tidy?

They are the cheap ones from China or Hong Kong. Good quality and just 30 dollars.

These are for the FZ1 2006-2013, but they fit the MT09.

Search eBay for FZ1 short levers.

Took the bike out for a 2 hour ride before work.
I'm still smiling.

marcel that's a cracking looking mt mate, simple minimal and great lines with the tail tidied up, one of the best I have seen less is more on this bike in my opinion, lovely bike.

Yeah, pretty happy with it. Turned out very well the tail tidy.

Hope the braided brake lines get in soon.

Flyscreen will arrive at the end of this month.

And then saving up for an exhaust.

Got to agree fly, like those mirrors... just wonder about filtering... allways nipping to the front of traffic ! No gap too tight ! Do they make the bike much wider?

Was gonna ask the same question mate... crotchrocket has mirrors like that and he commutes in London. Wonder if he ever has a problem with the width of them???

they don't look to wide to me , best mt I have seen to be honest, he really has taken the essence of the bike with his mods, I might go down a similar route after I get my suspension sorted.

Nah they are fine. I went for some round convex ones, as I'm not really into the other types. If I do come across a gap where wing mirrors are the same height as mine, I put a foot down and shimmy one side of the bars through first. I actually hit about 3-4 van mirrors with the stock MT mirrors, hasnt happened with the new bar end ones.
