Miles Per Gallon or Litres Per 100km...?

Hi - Does everyones dash display Litres Per 100 kilometres on the average use, instead of a miles per gallon figure? ...Either this normal, I have an import(No, I haven't!), or Yam have saved a couple of Yen by not giving the UK miles per gallon. Perhaps I can change it, but as yet haven't found a sequence of button presses and the speedo is in miles per hour.

I've accidentally changed my UK spec model from MPG to KPL. Took me a while to figure out what I'd done.
From memory... with the MPG mode displayed on the dash just press and hold the SELECT button until it changes.

Jetty if you are getting your speedo to read MPH you do not have an import as an EU spec bike does not have the MPH/KPH feature much to my annoyance, it is possible to flick from one to the other on a UK spec bike. Why Yamaha have done this I do not know ,lets face it how much would it have cost, just simply programming on the in built computer.
