Rear Wheel Spindle Torque

I put a new tyre on the back, had to use a pipe on the ratchet to undo the nut, wouldn't budge at first started to think it had a left hand thread? didn't do it back up that tight? 150nm is about 110 ft lbs I think? with a normal ratchet you can get 75 ft lbs so that and a bit more should do the job?

Thanks for the info.
Have adjusted the chain a few times (now on a new chain and 1 x extra tooth on the back sprocket) but was just wondering what the correct torque was.

That 1 x extra tooth on he back made a great difference to the bike.
Singapore is one endless Traffic Light sprint party, never go above 120 km/hr in fear of being canned.
