Doing a chain and sprocket change on the bike soon and was thinking of going down one on the front sprocket.. I know the speedo over reads at the mo. Am I right thinking going down one on the front will make this worse? Where does the speedo pick up its signal from? ECU or a gearbox or wheel sensor? Cheers guys..

I would hope its taken from sensor on rear if ~ABS but maybe not then gearing would not affect speedo? I think lol

Pick up is accessible from the LH side if the bike. I use a Speedo Healer and the correction is -10.2% for F-1 (15T)

RPM are about +500 at 120KMH or 70MPH. For me it was a track thing, 3rd gear was just a bit long in some corners and I wasn't using 6th.
