Tank protector for the deep armour

Cab anyone recommend a clear see thru protector for the tank without spoiling the look of the centre stripe. Ive seen bikes with protectors fitted but they look awful on a base stripe tank. Any thoughts or pics would be great

Do you need it? I'm not sure that I need a tank protector on this particular bike ... knee protectors definitely. But no part of me gets that close the tank ... but I'm small and slender (apparently) I'm aware that are not. I have put helicopter tape between the tank and the seat though ... that area gets frigged up right quick on most bikes.

i got a clear one on mine , looks ok , i did but a yamaha mt one , looked quite bad, hides the stripe too much.
not sure what make ,mine is ...... just search ebay !

i will try the 3m tape. Thanks guys i get my bike on friday. I had a MT07 and that did not need a tank protector as it had a plastic centre piece and eventually i put a gagster tank cover in leather over the whole tank anyway. I love the stripe on the MT09 so don't want to hide it.
