Not what I was expecting, but I think that it has potential. Wonder who is going to make an exhaust for this...

I read a good article about the drive modes somewhere.As you switch modes its supposed to release more intake noise.So i'm wondering.
1.Wich drive mode was it in for this video, sporty mode A or restrictive mode B?
2.If it was filmed in mode A, then where is the extra intake noise?
3.How hard is it going to be to mod these components if mode A is still fairly restrictive compared to a open airbox.
I've got a strange feeling people are going to toss these things like the AIS system

Most likely if it doesn't really help, but hinder performance. I am not sold on the driving modes yet. I guess it depends on what it does to change the "mode". I would prefer to see one that has driving modes as far as brake assist and traction control. Intentionally restricting the engine for less output? That seems like they are trying to protect us from ourselves.

I agree. I thought for sure this would sound a little louder. I guess that is just signature Yamaha.
