mate of mine want to get a Tracer but he's having trouble finding anyone that will insure it, other than Yamaha who want nearly £700, he pays less than £300 for his 14 plate CB1000R
does anyone on here have a Tracer and who are you insured with ?

thanks

Probably just because its a new model, had similar and others did with the Honda CBR500r when it came out and because of the CBR designation were quoting silly prices, when its just an A2 compliant bike with a full fairing really.
Best keep trying them until they add tracer to database.

I was surprised with MT price, as for CBR500r it was about £180, and for MT £280 with a no-fault claim for the CBR500. Expected a lot higher given the MT is over twice horse power but I guess its classes a naked to!

had problems when i got my mt09 in october 2013. It was just out, I was insured with bennetts for my old fz6, they couldnt insure it as it wasnt on their database. Had to go to carole nash.
Just checked with mcn compare, and its not listed there

Bennetts gave me a quote on the phone for one a few weeks back - so worth giving them a call?
