Has anyone modified their air intakes with lights or similar accessories? Looking at options...

Might be a handy place to mount and hide a GPS locator.

I read someone used the left side to house their ballast and cables for their HID setup.

I think some have re-located the horn into one of the vents to keep it away from the flying cr4p

I saw a yank put blue LED's in them; perfect if you're after the tacky pimp look.

Air intake mods

DSC_0024_1.jpg

Added some home made Led running lights, outline of "darkside " emblem cut from DVD plastic case, large soft flood led, wired to accessory socket, very happy , not perfect but I like!

I did this - an easy relocation under the left side cover. It places the horn out of the elements, tidies up the front end, and I no longer have to remove the horn when I use a front head stand.

The horn relocated to the left vent works well....no apparent loss of volume.
