That's ridiculous! What's the f**king point of having a breakdown cover if no one's actually coming to rescue you...

Bugger.
Another reason to carry the little puncture repair kit from eBay, £10 - well worth it

the only reason bike manufactures offer breakdown/rescue cover is so that you don't phone them or there dealers when problems occur, reckon stop'n'go tyre plugger would have had you mobile in 15 mins. and if it failed how much have you lost, good luck hope things get sorted.

Probably your dealer. It came with the bike and I also have on with my insurance so I have a choice whether to call RAC or call RAC if something happens.

Lol. I'm the same, my list goes a lil something like this...

Free RAC with bike insurance.
Free RAC with car insurance.
Free RAC with IAM membership.
Free AA with my bank account.
Free recovery back to the dealership or home (I live over the road from it)! coz he's a mate lol.

I think I'm pretty covered in some way shape or form lol

I'd contact Yahama's customer service on 01932 358000 or the dealer.
Have you got the datatag?

If not, its back to your dealer and ask where the goodies is :)

I will do thanks, I do have the Datatag but only because I sorted it out myself. What exactly did you lot get in the way of warranty info, a letter or card etc? And same for the breakdown cover?

Ahh OK well that makes a lot of sense, I'll give it a little while longer then and just hope I don't break down in the mean time!

All came in same envelope.
I took delivery of my MT on 4/10, and i can see the envelope is stamped 6/11, so for me it took about 5-weekish time, but hearing the delays others are seeing, i wouldn't be surprised if that cause a backlog or delay in sending out, too.

The envelope contains:

-The Welcome letter
-Folder about Yamalube
-a sheet of paper with both cards attached, one for euroservice and one for RAC Yamaha Assist
-Booklet about Yamaha assist

I'm glad you got me to take the envelope out and got me to read the booklet.
It is only UK cover, but you can upgrade to European cover less 10% discount by quoting "YAM" when calling in to upgrade.
This will come handy for me, when i hit for Th'Alps in July :)
