There is no competition...every bike mag compares it with a Triumph...why? because it has a triple engine too?...the MT09 is almost in it's own league/type...it's unique and should be viewed as being so.

Yes I have them on the MT09 and had them on the FZ6N I had before...essential riding equipment in Canberra Australia, I used to almost triple glove previously.........

I was told in late Jan 14 it would take up to a month to get mine....I too rang Yamaha Australia and they said all bikes (more than 100 ) would be delivered by 2nd week of March. I got mine a week earlier than I'd been told. I was and am still happy with the purchase..awesome value and powerful...

Dunlops work well, they warm up quickly on the road and stick well. Mine are wearing though at a rapid rate!:o

Paid $11,990 ride away, (in Feb 2014) only really cost me $7,000 in cash as I traded in my 10/2008 FZ6N I had since new...purchased at Joes Yamaha in Canberra Australia. It is an absolute bargain!
