I had my 12K done on a trip back to the UK in September at Rob Speed in Cleethorpes.
Very pleased with the service (Loaned me a Z1000TX for the day)
It cost just over £150, a lot cheaper than Woking Yamaha!
Im having no problems with it and it needed nothing.
The only comment was that the...
I may get mine done ( when I'm in for the loom) but since a 'reconfigured' the throttle cam, I don't have a huge issue.
I'm guessing if I do get it done I should replace my throttle slider as well
We'll see
This may or may not be of any assistance but mine had awful weave (I mentioned it somewhere on here)
Seemed to be back pack related!?!
But it has now simply disappeared ?
Whether I use the back pack or not, I haven't changed anything, it just not there.
Unless it's shifted much further into...
I used an Optimate 3+ on the Mrs bike.
Hooked up the battery, plugged it in and let it work its blinky light magic.
Battery fully charged the next day.
It couldn't be more hassle free unless it connected itself!
Wasn't cheap though, I think about £45
Cheers, I think the link is probably still on here somewhere
If it's the same company, I mailed them yonks ago, no reply
And their option looked like Meccano and seemed to carry the number plate plus light and indicators
And I recall it was around €250
TBH even that is beginning to look like an...
You'd need a meter long rear hugger to make any differences
I don't know why peeps keep posting suggesting extensions to the original as an option to prevent 'wet arse'
I think the biggest mistake most of us made was getting rid of the original tail piece and fitting a 5x7 number plate
If...
Glad to hear you aren't having issues, so not an inherent design problem.
And have to admit, I wasn't aware of it to begin with
Yes typically wear a Kriega R30
I will experiment and see if I can effect it.
In the 90s its very cool.
Ton+ its shite, wants to weave like a bitch WTF.
Weird thing is it doesn't get progressively worse as you get closer to incarceration speeds.
Gotta say if this isn't solvable it'll be going on auto trader
That looks better than that French one (which Im sooo close to getting) Im sick and tired of the mess
Hi TT, let us know how you get on long term with your Rizoma tail tidy solution.
Does it change the position of the plate substantially?
It wold definitely be a better option.
A picture would...
Aye guilty as charged dudes.
A pleasure to chat to you Kitch and welcome!
But really, how was I not going to chat to another rider who chosen the fastest colour for our steed.
Loads of good stuff on this site, good advice and of course occasional (well intentioned) ritual abuse for some of our...
Sorry for late response RIP but yeh, what you have illustrated is definitely what I was going for.
But i would say I was less aggressive, I didn't go all the way to 90º, probably more like 75º. My thinking was it's just that initial opening that's an issue.
I'm very happy with mine :-)
